壯闊台灣的行動，源自於對台灣社會、這塊土地上每一個人的關懷，不論其背景、能力、性別，任何條件。

壯闊台灣成立於 2020 年，創辦人吳怡農相信，有主動參與社會事務的公民，才有安全且富足的國家。這意味著，我們必須有意識的參與民主，這也意味著我們要起而行－為國家社會服務。

當我們開始行動，一起為家園付出、擁有相同的信念和目標時，我們也在深化民主、團結社會。這是壯闊台灣想要傳達的精神與價值。

服務，是壯闊台灣的核心精神，我們的社區服務具體展現在「後盾計畫」。災害發生時，受過專業訓練的志工們知道如何保護自己，並在專業緊急應變者抵達前，能盡可能協助身邊的人。除了緊急時刻，在風和日麗的時候，後盾志工們也自主發起社區服務計畫，協助有需要的人們。

我們也致力於開創政策辯論平台，特別是國家安全政策，我們期待為台灣帶來建設性的正向討論。我們也聚集來自世界各地的國防安全領域專家、觀點倡議者，回應共同的區域挑戰。

Our work is underpinned by our love for Taiwan and concern for everyone living on this land – regardless of background. 

Enoch founded Forward Alliance in 2020 with the belief that a safer and more prosperous society requires engaged citizens to actively steer the direction of our nation. This means we must be informed voters. This also means that all of us must take concrete actions to serve our communities. 

Service is thus an integral part of our mission. Our community service work is centered on the Forward Volunteers program. Volunteers are trained to save lives when disasters strike, and to assist professional first responders once help arrives. In addition, our volunteers identify the needs of their local communities, and mobilize others to help. 

Aligning individual efforts with collective purpose forms the basis of a resilient society. We are stronger and we go further when we stand together. This is the story behind the Forward Alliance logo. 

We also strive to create space for constructive policy debate, particularly on subjects that affect Taiwan’s security. We bring together subject matter experts and thought leaders from around the world to address common challenges.
